CHALLENGE
Given its global repute, Moderna was one of the key considerations for everyone when Malaysia started talking about COVID-19 vaccines. However, as it was not present in the market, there was lack of media talk surrounding the brand.
APPROACH
Shared Media Alerts on Moderna’s strategies to address the spread of Omicron Variant. We also shared press releases to the media that highlighted Moderna’s information center as a valuable resource in the battle against misinformation surrounding vaccines. Additionally, the team worked on creating content calendar and scheduling LinkedIn posts for Zuellig Pharma’s spokesperson to increase thought leadership advocacy on the significance of Moderna vaccines and owning conversations on the forward-looking approach for Covid-19 vaccines for Malaysia.
RESULTS TO DATE
We garnered positive impressions on spokesperson LinkedIn posts about the severity of Omicron variant and why it is imperative for public to get vaccinated as well as boosted. In addition, we obtained tier-1 media coverage as a result of the four press releases that we shared with the media on behalf of Moderna which helped maintain brand recall for the topic surrounding Covid-19 vaccine, specifically for Malaysia.
